For 20+ years we have run a waste-recycling business. Recently, our large-plant equipment products faced a gap with new government food-waste policy in the domestic market, prompting us to engage "Domestic Marketing Strategy for Stable Revenue Base" consulting.

We manufacture and export high-value-added thick-walled steel pipes from POSCO HR-coil — including OCTG pipes used to extract oil & natural gas worldwide and pipelines that transport that energy. We also produce structural and conduit steel pipes used across all industries — a global specialty pipe company.
Last year we unexpectedly faced labor-management tension, deeply feeling the need for thoughtful employee care and improved internal management systems. A consensus emerged that we must design and implement a fair evaluation and rewards system. From March 15 to mid-July, we worked with CE Management Consulting on "Strategic Performance Evaluation & Strategy System."
We formed a TFT centered on department heads, and CE sent consultants with deep theory and rich practical experience. We jointly worked on the engagement for about four months.
While the details cannot all be shared here, the result is that we can now conduct truly fair, objective employee evaluations with a corresponding rewards system. Employees became more motivated, and we feel work and organizational engagement has deepened.

Before consulting I honestly thought "Will there really be much change?" But after, far more changed than expected. Root causes were precisely analyzed — weak promotion strategy, the lack of menus aligned with customer expectations, and the mindset that we must always strive for better service.
